When is the festival?
The festival takes place throughout the weekend from Friday, 8 August. November to Sunday, 10. It was held nov. It starts on Friday at 16:00 with numerous workshops, which are also offered throughout Saturday.
The “Batizado and Troca de Cordas” (in German Belt Award) is
- For adults: on Saturday, 9 September November 2019
- For children: on Sunday, the 10th November 2019 noon.
What is offered?
Taster lessons, lectures and numerous workshops are also part of the festival.

This year we have the honour and the pleasure to welcome our master Umoi from Düsseldorf. We have again held numerous workshops with:
- Mestre Umoi – Dusseldorf / Germany (Grupo Una Capoeira)
- Mestre Cacique – France (Associao Cultural Umbuntus Capoeira)
- Contramestre Vaqueiro – Starnberg / Germany (Ligando Mundos)
- Professor Tito – Rijeka/Croatia (Grupo Beira do Rio)
- Slavica Repovic – Banjaluka / Bosnia (Capoeira and Children’s Education)
The taster lessons, workshops and lectures will be held by Fr. 8. up to So. 10. November 2019.

Price for the Batizado and all courses and workshops together is:
1. – Upon registration and receipt of payment
1 person – 70 € p.p.
Family discount: 60 € p.p.
2. – Only taster lessons or workshops
1 taster lesson – 15 € p.P.1
day workshop – 40 € p.p.
2 days workshop – 60 € p.p.

Parking is available along the street Gute Änger on both sides towards the roundabout and in the parking lots of the Montessori center.
By car
Motorway A92: exit Freising-Mitte. Continue via Ismaninger Str. to the industrial park.
Motorway A92: exit Freising-Ost. Continue via the B301, first exit towards Freising Isarstraße.
Motorway A9: Exit Allershausen. Continue approx. 15 min via the city road St2084 to Freising.
By train
Freising has a railway station. You can drive from the south (Munich) or from the north (Landshut, Regensburg, Nuremberg).
S-Bahn S1 to Freising from Munich Hbf* jo
urney takes approx. 40 Min. The S1 runs every 20 or 40 min.
Train RE or ALEX via Freising from Munich Hbf*
Faht takes approx. 25 min. The train runs approximately every 30 or 60 min.
Caution: The S1 is divided into Neufarn. The front part goes to Freising, the rear part to the airport. If necessary, you can change to Neufahrn.
By bus
From Freising station P+R there are several buses to the Montessori school (stop Gute Änger).
Bus 622 (4 min): Freising P+R Platz to Gute Änger
Bus 623 (4 min): Freising P+R Platz to Gute Änger
Bus 634 (10 min): Freising P+R Platz to Church of St. Lantpert. Then (7 min) on foot.

Bus 635 (25 min): The bus departs every 20 min from Munich Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 to Freising station. The journey takes approx. 25 min

):* First take the S1 direction Munich from Munich Airport to Neufah
rn.* Then get off in Neufahrn and continue with the S1 towards Freisin
